The Code 2 of 5 Datalogic was developed by Datalogic in 1979. The Code 2 of 5 Datalogic belongs to the code-family of 2 of 5 that – apart from the start and stop characters – chiefly still consists of the code „2 of 5 Matrix”.

Further, there are several different variants that have more or less made the market to a certain extent.
